The Lunar 7th month has started... and we are not in time to post out the invites b4 it.. Sigh~!! =(

I think we both just can be bothered about it.. haha! Now then getting panicky!

Things to do:

1) Settle wines
2) Loan projectors
3) Select pic and music for montage and walk-in
4) get wedding album
5) make appt for mani/pedi and hair
6) cheongsum alteration
7) prepare mailing list for invite cards!! (IMPT!!)
8) Settle table list
9) Draw out day & night itinerary
10) Meet up with sisters/bros

only 40 more days!!

Guo da li is finally OVER!

This is one of the part that I hate the most out of the wedding prep..

I don't understand why ppl still have to have such a bo liao ceremony... and why is there still a need for a baby potty, baby bathtub etc when we most likely wun use it..

It just for show and give ppl more reasons to feel unhappy about... =(

Wasn't a very smooth GDL and have a few unpleasant surprises (esp the pin jin issue)... Haiz!

But since it is already over, maybe it is for the better not to dwell on it and rake it up again..

< 13 weeks! OMG!

- planning of fringe activities

14th Feb - Pick up Gowns (to bring shoes, corset & bra)
15th Feb - Gel Nail Manicure appt
18th Feb - Submit doc at Registry
19th Feb - Pedicure?

The hunt for the Ang Bao box...

Initially want to get a nice mailbox or a watering can as the ang bao box...

Bird cage was another popular item for weddings nowadays.. but dun really like the idea it symbolise... seems like locking away our freedom... @_@
but if its to put cash.. should still be fine... right? heehee...

Some tatty bears normal box idea..this is one of the better one that i saw online.. looks so pretty! but think the tatty bears are quite ex and its pretty normal too..


Tier "cake" ang bao box are pretty in recently too..
I think it looks pretty good too! but charpau said not v pretty... Hmmm


Saw a glass candle holder in Holland V and it looks perfect as a special ang bao box..But guess what.. the price is $220!! Faint! @_@


Came across some picnic baskets too.. but I dun really fancy them..somemore it cost $20+-$30+.. abit ex for a picnic basket? hmmm



Finally we settled on a Vintage Bird Cage from Arab Street.. too tired with all the walking and sourcing..

costed us $48 after some haggling..not too ex..and it should save us some time & cost since the cage looks pretty good by itself already.. ;)
